This year we had more than double the number of Hokies donate money than the Hoos.  Hokies donated a total of $315 and only two Hoos donated but one of them donated $2500 and the other donated $250.

This is the third time that the Peninsula Chapters of Virginia Tech and UVA
alumni have taken on a food drive. The drive ended on November 26th, the day of the Virginia Tech vs UVA football game which was cancelled.So since the school that raises the most money for the Food Bank wins UVA won but the Hokies did good since we had more donors. And it is just very good that we set up this event to help the Food Bank help people that need food.
